NATURE CONNECTION & GATHERING
Undertake the journey of making with spirit, start with what you have to create, this needs to have meaning to you. You're invited to bring something from nature that is special to you to alchemize into a totem of your calling. This may be as simple as a stick that will become a wand or a staff, or crystals, a stone, a shell, feathers, an animal skull, or beads from a necklace with sentimental value that need to reform into something new. Consider spending time and finding things in nature to see what calls. Before the workshop, i'll also recommend a few nice shops or places to visit for further inspiration.

Now to the day, we'll start with a brief exploration of nature, tuning in with the elements to find objects to create with. When we return you'll also have the opportunity to gather from my own collection of natural objects.

TECHNIQUES TO CREATE
We'll arrive back and feel into what you have and what will form for the day, we'll travel through techniques of design and paractical skills with natural objects so you can make what you have in mind for the day and have technique extending beyond this that you can continue to develop and make. These skills will include.

DESIGN, including sacred geometry proportions and what your totem will form into
CUTTING, SHAPING & CARVING TIMBER with a combination of hand and power tools
BRANDING, working with fire, to brand or burn your mark into the workpiece
BINDING and fixing objects together with glue, cord or wire
FORMING rawhide or kelp to shape your totem
BLESSING your totem as you create

PRACTICAL USE / WORKING WITH SPIRIT
We'll explore how to infuse and work with your totem in the best way possible, embracing the energy of the forming artifact for its intended use in ceremony or for something unique to you.

SKILLS REQUIRED & ONGOING JOURNEY
This day is intended for anyone from a complete beginner to an advanced creative, it's an opportunity to learn new skills.  I have made totems that take a super short time, as well as ones that extend to weeks of creative development. Depending on the nature of the design, it may be that your totem isn't completed on the day, but you'll certainly take home a skill set to do so and the ability to create more with what you've learned.

INVESTMENT (basic material costs included): $230  ($50 booking fee + $180 on the day)

Secure your spot with a $50 booking fee + a small processing fee through Humanitix, and the remaining amount of $180 payable in cash on the day. Please note that booking fees cover preparation time and materials, they are non-refundable but transferable to another workshop date.

Don't miss this opportunity to embark on a journey of creativity, spirituality, and self-discovery through the art of creating with spirit.

About Natural Alchemy Society / Brad
Brad is an intuitive alchemist who loves to immerse himself in creating, reiki, playing with sound meditation, making, and playing drums. With a design background, he has a belief in creating with heart, exploring spirit-centred being, offering in-depth transformational practice, and passing teachings of compassion back to community.
Inner-tuition, or intuition is a guiding focus for Brad, he believes that the most important teachings are offered from within; so of course this needs to be nurtured to encourage self-empowerment. All his offerings reflect this in varied ways outlined in this website and posts.
Further, he is very much a creator, following principles of alchemical transmutation along his journey, other experiences range from painting, sculpting, digital design, teaching university-based design subjects, and sustainability. Amongst other things, sacred geometry is embraced in his work and shown through large-sized meditation pyramids and other geometries. Many of the instruments he plays he also makes, and he occasionally creates for others.
Academically, Brad has been immersed in the esoteric, sound, and meditation for over 25 years. He has a master’s degree in design and an advanced diploma with the sacred sciences foundation amongst other learnings. But more importantly, a belief that the body is a temple and that to celebrate life in a wholesome, quirky, and fun way is so very important.

On Design
Brad is a designer, loving the practical side of creation in both traditional and digital manufacturing techniques. Involved in environmental sustainability and off-grid living. He has a passion for a more wholistic approach to health and wellness playing with sound and helping others create.
